The Lost Frame

Lost Frame was created by Colby Mullins and Caroline Quinn from a shared love of clothing, film, design and storytelling.

We both dreamed of building something of our own. Something that would give us the freedom to bring our ideas to life without limiting what they could become. With Caroline’s background in product design, photography, marketing and brand identity, and Colby’s experience in entrepreneurship, fashion and creative direction, Lost Frame became the place where our different perspectives could come together.

The name Lost Frame was inspired by the idea of a forgotten moment in film: a missing scene, an old photograph or a memory that feels familiar even when you cannot remember where it came from.

We have always been drawn to vintage films, worn clothing and objects that feel as though they have already lived a life. There is something more personal and human about them. They carry imperfections, history and a story that cannot be recreated by something made only to follow a trend.

Before starting Lost Frame, we often struggled to find clothing that felt completely like us. We were always thrifting, cutting, distressing and altering pieces ourselves to create the fit and feeling we were looking for. We wanted clothing that felt unique without trying too hard pieces that stood apart while still allowing the person wearing them to remain the focus.

That became the foundation of Lost Frame.

Every piece is created with intention. We consider the weight of the fabric, the way it falls on the body, the fading, distressing, tears and smallest signs of wear. Our goal is to create clothing that feels broken-in from the first time you put it on. Like a favorite piece you have owned for years, recovered from another time.

Each collection is released as an archive, with its own number, inspiration and story. Together, these archives build the evolving world of Lost Frame.

We create for people who have never completely felt like they fit into one category. The people who value individuality over trends, who see beauty in imperfection and who are not afraid to become their own person.

Lost Frame is not about clothing that steals the attention from the person wearing it. It is about creating pieces that complement who you already are. Clothing that makes you feel more comfortable, more confident and more connected to your own identity.

As Lost Frame grows, we never want to lose the heart behind it. We want to continue creating with the same level of care, quality and intention that made us begin. Our goal is not simply to make more clothing, but to build a world and a community that people feel genuinely connected to.

A place for those who believe life should feel a little more personal, creative and cinematic.

A reminder that you were never meant to disappear into the background of someone else’s story.

You were meant to become the main character of your own.
